I have about 30 cookbooks...these are the ones I use, and enjoy, the most. Not just for the great, easy recipes...His writing style makes it a pleasure to read! I recommend them both...and I have a ton of low carb/keto books. I have a hard copy of Fakery and a pdf of Carbage. The pdf is very well laid out and easy to access any page, illustrations and photos are so engaging...thank you for these great books DJ!
I love the books!!!! Over the last few months, I have subscribed to many Facebook pages, YouTube videos and blogs regarding low-carb eating and recipes. I recently tried a few recipes...some good some not so much....since I got these books, I feel like I never have to look at another Facebook low carb page, watch another video or read another book about low-carb at all. I feel like these two books are all I will ever need to learn about low carb eating and cooking. Hello new lifestyle! The books were well written and fun to read. I recommend them to everyone.
I have both books and love them both. I've recommended them to several people. Beyond recipes, the biggest value to me are the explanations of ingredients, tips on cooking, and suggestions on how to experiment. A big plus is that he is funny and entertaining. It's the first cookbook I've actually ENJOYED reading. Who couldn't love this guy?
